Farewell to England

So here I am with just less than three weeks before I leave my country to start a new life in America. So many emotions at the moment, stress, excitement, sadness at leaving friends/family and happiness at being reunited with husband and son over there already.
Am looking forward to sharing my adventure on my new blog while I embrace a new culture and a whole new lifestyle.
So many ideas going through my head in terms of launching a business in The States. As well as promoting the fantastic range of EllaPure products in America, I am keen to continue teaching Theatre/English as I have been doing here and in Paris for an English language company.
I also have a dream of running my own British Tea parties alongside EllaPure. After all, us Brits always have our cucumber sandwiches and tea at 4pm don't we? lol Perhaps organising tea parties with proper tea, crumpets, scones etc will starve off my homesickness? First I have to practise my baking skills......xx

 

Hello Virginia, USA

Well the countdown begins before we move Stateside from England. I'm excited about so many things, but mainly having a pool in our apartment building lol

Having an American husband will help to make me feel at home there but going to miss a lot of things from here, mainly friends and family. I'd especially like to hear from anyone in Northern Virgina who would be interested in learning about a fantastic British Organic skincare company new to America! I'll be posting about our move Stateside and the ups and downs of moving overseas. Having lived all over the world in my 20's and then with my husband's job in my 30's, this move to America in my 40's may be more permanent.
